What is included in a Standard interior?
A Standard Layout service means that we will format your manuscript entirely according to your preferences. There are no restrictions on style. You are free to choose:
- Typographical elements such as typefaces;
- Paginaelementen zoals kopteksten en een randindex;
- Colours;
- Table layout;
- Chapter page designs;
- Formulating your propositions.
How exactly does this work?
With us, you’ll get a personal designer who will be responsible for the design. They will listen carefully to your requirements and guide you through the process. You can read more about the design process here.
Our process involves rounds of revisions, during which you can provide feedback to the designer. With the Standard layout, you have 3 rounds of corrections. Read more about correction rounds here.
When is this the best choice for me?
The Standard Layout is our most popular option because it offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Would you like to take your time? Your designer will be happy to work with you on that. Is your schedule tight? Then your designer can suggest options based on their professional experience.
This option isn’t the best choice if you’re short on time. Depending on how much time you have before your thesis is due, it may therefore be better for you to make use of our express options. We’d be happy to tell you more about that here.
What is not included?
At Persoonlijk Proefschrift, we aim to provide a comprehensive service at a fixed price. Our Standard Interior Layout option therefore includes everything that, based on our many years’ experience as thesis designers, is essential for a beautifully and professionally designed thesis.
If you’re looking for something that isn’t covered by this option, we’re always happy to help! In that case, please discuss any additional costs with us. Read more about this in this article.
Additional charges apply to a Standard interior for:
- Textual amendments, such as corrections to spelling or grammar.
- Meer dan 30 tabellen of vergelijkingen. Dit heeft een toeslag van €89,- die kan vervallen indien ze niet complex blijken;
- Het aanpassen van bestaande figuren of het creëeren van nieuwel;
- Een uniek hoofdstukpaginaontwerp per hoofdstuk;
- Producing multiple versions of your content, for example, with and without supplementary materials, or differences between your online and printed versions.
