At Persoonlijk Proefschrift, I coordinate between the client, the designer and the printer, and I carry out all sorts of behind-the-scenes tasks. I also manage the recruitment process and regularly take on some design work. I live with my two daughters in North Brabant, where I enjoy spending my free time with my family, friends and my little dog!

I am a graphic designer and in-house trainer at Persoonlijk Proefschrift. I am committed to ensuring that all the knowledge and experience present within Persoonlijk Proefschrift reaches our graphic designers. However, I also still enjoy designing myself. When I am not designing, I prefer watching movies and binge-watching series.

As Technical Coordinator, I oversee our platform for designers, clients, and printers, and ensure that new insights are effectively disseminated within our organization. Additionally, I can express my creativity through design work – I have a passion for typography that I enjoy applying to science!

In addition to being a designer at Persoonlijk Proefschrift, I am the point of contact for designers who need advice on creating a (custom) cover. I quickly see what a design requires and can help the designer refine it. Besides dissertations, I design escape room games for home use and act in a theater group.

My responsibility lies in the development of additional functionalities and automations within our design program: InDesign. This gives us increasingly more time to pay extra attention to the details. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog Ziggy, who also serves as a loyal member of the core team on office days.

I am responsible for all process optimizations within Persoonlijk Proefschrift. For example, I work on new functionalities for our platform and try to ensure that processes, both internal and external, run as smoothly as possible. Additionally, I handle all HR matters. Besides being an entrepreneur, I am also a father, a handyman, and a motorcyclist.
