Summary booklet
A summary booklet is an extract of your dissertation. Often, only the non-scientific sections are included in the summary booklet. The booklet has the same design and cover as the dissertation. This way, you can share your research with a wider audience without having to print a large number of copies of your dissertation.
Details
- €25 excluding 9% VAT (only available within a package)
- The booklet is folded and stapled, so the content must be a multiple of four pages (e.g., 4, 8, 16, 32, 44, etc.)
- Standard size is 17 x 24 cm (same as the dissertation)
- Directly taken from the dissertation (only page numbers are adjusted)
- A simple table of contents specific to the booklet is possible (note: this will differ from the dissertation’s table of contents)
- The booklet has no spine, unless the booklet exceeds 50 pages
- Often includes a QR code to a digital version of the full dissertation
Structure of the summary booklet
Typically, a summary booklet includes the non-scientific parts of the dissertation, such as a preface, introduction, conclusion, summary, acknowledgements and Curriculum Vitae
Alternative content can be included upon consultation, which may incur an additional fee. The booklet’s size and layout match the dissertation and the same cover design is used. Since most summary booklets are under 50 pages, they are stapled, requiring the page count to be a multiple of four.
