Title Page and PhD Committee Page

Depending on the university you’re affiliated with, there are specific formatting guidelines for the official title page and the page listing your PhD committee . Such as margins, spacing, font, etc. In most cases, these two pages need to be approved by the Office of the Beadle (Bureau Pedel). To avoid any errors or deviations, your designer will therefore always include these pages as static images in your thesis.

This means the font on these pages might differ from the font used throughout the rest of your thesis. Would you like to request any changes? Please keep in mind that this may involve certain risks. First, check whether changes are still allowed and if so, what kind.

If the pages haven’t been approved yet, you can ask your designer for a separate PDF of these two pages so they can be submitted to the Office of the Beadle for review.
